Northwest Senior Theatre (Overview) The NST is a group of experienced (55 and older) performers who love to entertain. We develop two new professional-quality musical variety shows each year, complete with costumes, scenery, choreography and, of course, lots of music. We perform at Alpenrose Dairy Opera House and also for private functions. The Broadway theatre has, for years, provided many
hours of enjoyment through music, dance, and drama.
Since the early years of the 20th century, even before
when we consider vaudeville, there has been a steady
flow of beautiful and dramatic music to set our toes
tapping and give us innumerable tunes to hum.
This legacy also provides a tremendous resource to
groups like NORTHWEST SENIOR THEATRE as we share
this great wealth with you, our audiences. This season is
no exception as we draw on that huge library of song and
dance, to once again entertain you.
In “Broadway Highlights” we feature extended portions
from 4 major musicals – “Guys and Dolls”, “My Fair
Lady”, “Annie” and “Oklahoma”. To that we add songs
from West Side Story, Annie Get Your Gun, Mame and
many others. And, there is always our NST Tappers, an
audience clap along and just plan fun.
